Noting that Bangladesh is a country of peace, the Prime Minister said, “When people were at peace, they felt relieved and were finding the ray of hope and moving forward; At that time, fires, terrorism, strikes and blockades are disrupting people’s lives again; (It) is putting (people) in panic and danger; This is the saddest thing.
Sheikh Hasina said that she wants the people who are doing this work to regain their good sense. “Instead of committing these destructive acts, let them join the democratic trend, maintain their trust and faith in the people.”
Expressing hope to take the country further, Sheikh Hasina said, “I have lost my parents and brothers. I neither have anything to lose nor anything to gain.”
