Members of the Narayanganj Cultural Alliance claimed that the police forced them to use black cloth to cover the banner of a cultural program organized on the occasion of International Mother Language Day at Chashra in Narayanganj on Tuesday.

It was written on the banner, ’21st proverb, bad governance go away’. Members of the alliance allege that Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Narayanganj Sadar Model Police Station Anisur Rehman pressurized them to remove the banner.

Later cultural activists had to cover the banner to go ahead with the program organized at Shaheed Minar in Chashra.
