Rajshahi University’s Regular classes and official activities are scheduled to resume today (Saturday), after a two-week Eid vacation. The 16 residential dormitories opened on Tuesday and students have started returning to the institution, second largest university of the country. The residential halls and offices remained closed from Nov 14 to 22. Registrar-in-Charge of the varsity Prof Abdul Bari told newsmen that the institution would resume regular academic activities from Saturday. Proctor Chowdhury Mohammad Zakaria said that additional police forces have been deployed at key points for increased security. |
