Former captain and regular member of Bangladesh cricket team all rounder Sakib Al Hassan is missing remaining four one day internationals against visiting West Indies also.
Sakib was dropped from the team in first ODI for his injury. He was injured in the second test match at Khulna.
Bangladesh played against West Indies with four debutant in the first one day international and won the match convincingly.
Bangladesh team physician Dr Debashish Chowdhury said, after reviewing medical reports it was decided that Sakib Al Hassan should take rest for next six weeks.
Visiting West Indies team won the test series 2-0. They are playing a five match one day series and at the end of the series they will play a Twenty Twenty match.
