Today, on Saturday, different parties will hold rallies at different places in Dhaka at different times.
The Awamui League is scheduled to hold a peace and development rally at the southern gate of Baitul Mokarram Mosque in the capital around 2:00 pm.
At the same time, BNP will hold a rally in Naya Paltan area of the capital with a single-point demand of overthrowing the government.
Meanwhile, Jamaat-e-Islami will also organize a grand rally at Shapla Chhattar area of Motijheel at 2 pm with various demands including restoration of caretaker government order.
However, the police did not clarify whether Jamaat was allowed to hold a grand rally.
