Spanish police seize $114 million worth of cocaine from cattle ship

The ship had stopped at ports in about a dozen countries before Tuesday’s raids, and police said drug traffickers had begun using the livestock ships because it was more difficult for police to trace their illegal cargo.

“International organizations are making control and localization more difficult by using livestock to transport drugs from Latin America to Europe,” the Spanish police statement said.
