Nearly three dozen people were injured, 11 of them seriously, when a Hawaiian Airlines flight to Honolulu went seriously wrong on Sunday, local media reported.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reported that emergency responders treated 36 patients, 11 of whom were taken to local hospitals in critical condition.

The newspaper said the condition of the other nine patients was stable, including those with severe head injuries, lacerations, bruises and unconsciousness.
