Donald Lu, US Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs, has issued a letter to the three major parties of Bangladesh – Awami League, BNP and Jatiya Party.
Jatiya Party general secretary Mujibul Haq said he had received a letter from US Ambassador to Dhaka Peter Haas.
Quoting the US Ambassador, he said, letters have also been given to Awami League and BNP.
