A class action suit filed earlier this year alleges that fans expected the Cuban “No Time to Die” star to feature prominently.
However, the lawsuit, reported Friday by US media, said “they did not receive any of Ana de Armas’ film.”
Accordingly, “no value was provided to such consumers for their rental or purchase,” the suit added.
Universal had asked US District Judge Stephen Wilson to dismiss the complaint, arguing that the trailers are protected by the US Constitution’s First Amendment, which guarantees free speech.
