India pacer Akash Deep sent back both Bangladesh openers inside the first hour of play as the tourists cruised to lunch at 74-2 in the second Test on Friday.

Captain Nazmul Hussain Shanto scored 28 runs and Mominul Haq scored 17 runs while batting at the break in Kanpur and together they scored 45 runs.

Bangladesh’s openers made a cautious start after the match was delayed due to a wet outfield in what could be former captain Shakib Al Hasan’s last match in this format.
