Ban on Azharuddin is illegal

Azharudiin is considered as one of the most successful captain for Indian cricket team. He was debuted in 1984, played ninety nine test matches and three hundred and thirty four one day internationals.

In the year 2000 a life time ban was imposed on him. The allegation against him was, his involvement in match fixing. In 2006 Indian cricket board wanted to lift the ban, but International Cricket Council opposed.

Now high court in Andhra Pradesh of India has ruled that the ban on Azharuddin is illegal and unsustainable.
This forty nine years old veteran cricketer will not back to cricket but he will be relieved after the verdict. He joined in politics in 2009 and now he is an elected MP from Uttar Pradesh.
