Former Indian cricketer Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar popularly known as Sachin Tendulkar was known as gentleman cricketer during his career. He is considered one of the greatest batsman in history. He is also holding the record of highest run scorer.
Current covid-19 (coronavirus) outbreak has forced the Indian government to impose countrywide lockdown to prevent spread of the disease. This has triggered another humanitarian crisis. Tens of thousands of poor Indians have lost their daily income and failing to feed their families. Indian prime minister has appealed to celebrities to come forward and help those needy section of population.
Sachin Tendulkar has already donated twenty five lac Indian rupees to central government and state government. Now he has decided to deliver foods to a NGO ‘Aponaloy’ so that they can feed five thousand poor Indians for one month.
