The deceased have been identified as Rafiqul (35) of Sonapatti area of Charbagdanga union, Jahangir (35) of Narendrapur area of Shahjahanpur union and Isrul (42) of Namohar area of Devinagar union.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chapainwabganj Sadar police station Sajjad Hussain said that Rafiqul died after being struck by lightning while harvesting paddy in the field in Charbagdanga area during the rains.
