AB Party warns government of humiliating exit

As part of the ongoing agitation in support of the one-point demand for the immediate resignation of the government, the Amar Bangladesh Party staged a sit-in in front of SROMO Bhawan in Bijoy Nagar, following which a street rally was taken out on Friday. A party press release said the program was addressed by AB Party member secretary Mojibur Rahman Monju, joint member secretary Asaduzzaman Fuad and others.

Mojibur Rahman Monju said that the ruling party has been in power illegally for more than a decade. Now crores of citizens have come together to protest against the misrule, corruption, endless loot, unprecedented price rise and inflation of this regime. Due to the fear of losing power anytime, the government has lost its senses. He cited the arrest of an elderly mother in Khulna because of her migrant son’s Facebook post.
