Bangladesh creates national authority to manage universal pension scheme

The members of the board are the Governor of Bangladesh Bank, the Finance Secretary, the Financial Institutions Secretary, the Chairman of the National Board of Revenue, the Social Welfare Secretary, the Women and Child Affairs Secretary, the Overseas Welfare and Foreign Employment Secretary, the Labor and Employment Secretary, the Posts and Telecommunications Secretary, Prime Minister’s Office Secretary, Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman, Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bangladesh Employers’ Federation and Bangladesh Women’s Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
