Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB), a pro-BNP platform of doctors, organized an iftar at the Ladies Club in Eskaton, Dhaka.
BNP acting president Tariq Rehman addressed the event virtually as the chief guest.
“The incident that happened on October 28, we have to think about what this incident did to us. We have to think what did we do and why did the government do this? We liberated this country from the grip of another country in 1971. Our well thought out plan was that there would be freedom and sovereignty in this country, there would be right of expression and right to vote. But we did not find anything. We should keep in mind that some people or country have some objectives,” Mirza Abbas said.
