As per the UNB report, Bangladesh is set to receive USD 1.7 billion inward remittance through banking channel in December 2022, which is 4.23 per cent higher than the same month last year.
According to the latest Bangladesh Bank report released on Sunday, expatriates sent home $1.59 billion through legal channels in November.
The central bank has been trying to increase inward remittance flows through banking channels by offering stimulus and higher exchange rates to the US dollar.
