Bangladesh has achieved significant progress in skills development, particularly in ensuring access and equality for marginalized groups such as women, indigenous communities and persons with disabilities.
The Bangladesh delegation, while briefing a high-level panel at the International Labor Organization (ILO) headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, said that these efforts are closely aligned with the government's stated political objectives and developmental priorities.
The panel discussed Bangladesh's progress in skills and technical education through partnerships with the ILO, the European Union and the Canadian government. Representatives from government, employers and development partners were invited to the event.
