Bollywood heroines are drug-addicted, but what about heroes?

Prominent actress and lawmaker from the Indian state of West Bengal Mimi Chakraborty has questioned the traditional male-dominated mindset where people like to blame women for any unwanted incidents. She has asked, ok, many female actresses are drug-addicted, but isn’t it equally true for male actresses?

After the recent death of Sushant Singh Rajput, many unknown and dark sides of the Bollywood film industry have emerged. Indian investigators have uncovered that many prominent Bollywood actresses have links with drug dealers, they regularly arrange party where drug consumption has become a well-accepted part. Top Indian heroines including Deepika Padukone have been named and questioned by investigators in this scandal.

Many of Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans do not believe that he committed suicide. They say, his girlfriend was involved in his killing to embezzle money. Initial investigation has also supported the claim.

But the point actress Mimi Chakraborty has raised is why only pointing fingers towards female actresses? She says, male-dominated society only blame women, not men.
