Vehicular movement in the capital increased compared to the previous two days on Thursday, the last day of the three-day blockade imposed by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and Bangladesh Jamaat Islami.
However, even today no long route buses depart from Dhaka’s Gabtoli Bus Terminal.
Today there were more office going people on the streets. The number of private cars has also increased compared to the last two days. Some people were seen waiting for buses to reach their workplaces.
Between 9:00 am and 9:30 am, the situation was similar at many places in the capital including Mohammadpur, Shyamoli, Kalyanpur, Technical Square and Gabtoli bus stand.
