According to the bulletin, the storm is likely to cause heavy to very heavy rainfall over Chattogram, Sylhet and Barishal divisions and may trigger landslides in hilly areas of Cox’s Bazar, Bandarban, Rangamati, Khagrachari and Chattogram.
The coastal district of Cox’s Bazar and its offshore islands and four will remain under Major Danger Signal-10 while Chattogram, Feni, Noakhali, Laxmipur, Chandpur, Barishal, Bhola, Patuakhali, Jhalkathi, Pirojpur, Barguna and their offshore Great Danger Signal-8.
