Earlier, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department had issued danger signal 10 for Payra and Mongla seaports and danger signal 9 for Cox's Bazar and Chittagong ports.
According to BMD, the deep depression over east-central Bay and adjoining west-central Bay moved northwards and intensified into cyclonic storm 'Raimal' over northwest Bay and adjoining areas on Saturday evening.
