Nobel laureate economist Dr Muhammad Yunus on Sunday asked journalists to tell him who has filed the case against him accusing him of violating labor laws.
He said, “I want to make one thing clear from my side that the government is repeatedly saying at all its levels that the government has not registered this case. You (the journalist) are witnesses but are not saying anything. Did the government or the workers file it? Give me this answer,” he told reporters.
Dr Yunus asked this to journalists after filing an appeal in the Appellate Tribunal against the sentence in a case filed for violation of labor laws.
