EU and China hold digital dialogue on AI and data flows

Zhang said at the meeting that China welcomes companies from around the world, including Europe, to share opportunities for the development of its digital economy and achieve win-win results, the official Xinhua news agency reported.

The two sides agreed to promote an open, fair and non-discriminatory environment for the development of the digital economy, Xinhua said.

The two sides also discussed other topics including research and innovation, information and communication technology and security of products sold online.
