HSC and other equivalent public examination result may be published in any day from 20th July to 22nd July. Dhaka Education Board chairman Mohammad Ziaul Haque who is also chairman of inter-education board coordination sub-committee, informed this to media yesterday. He said as per present guideline, the committee has proposed to publish HSC and equivalent examination result within 60 days. Committee has sent proposal to ministry of education for publishing the result in any day from 20th to 22nd July. Ministry will decide when to publish the result. Public examination results are at first submitted to prime minister and then it is published through educational institutes and websites. So result publishing depends on getting schedule from prime minister’s office. More than thirteen lakh and fifty thousand examinees participated in this year’s HSC and its equivalent examination. HSC is the last public examination before entering undergraduate courses in Bangladesh. As virtually there is no second chance in Bangladeshi education system, HSC and equivalent exams are often described as deciding exam for a student’s life.
