Her full name is Rumana Rashi Ishita. She became Notun Kuri champion in the nineties. Notun Kuri was a yearly cultural competition show sponsored by state owned Bangladesh Television.
Child performer Ishita was always a serious student. She was also a regular face in small screen even after her childhood. But she is not a regular performer for some months. Talking to media about this she says, now she is busy with her study and job. She has admitted herself in a university for master of business administration course. Ishita is also doing her job with a private satellite channel, ‘Channel i’, where she is busy with Lux Channel i superstar competition and Fair and Handsome competition.
If fact Ishita has been avoiding acting and modeling after joining in Channel i. Ishita is also a director and she directs a TV drama on the occasion of Eid every year. Perhaps her fans will miss her drama this year. Ishita says, it’s not easy to concentrate in study after a long break and she wants to complete the course first.
