Earlier, Mirza Abbas’s lawyer Mosleh Uddin Jasim had filed a complaint in the court regarding wrongly stating the age of Mirza Abbas as 53 years in the case documents. In response, Mirza Abbas told the court, “I am a freedom fighter and at present I am 74 years old. I am not aware of what the police has written.”
Chief Public Prosecutor Abdullah Abu argued in favor of Mirza Abbas’s remand application in the Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge’s court.
