Meanwhile, police were deployed in front of the BNP central office in Naya Paltan in the morning. Police were seen cordoning off a part of the BNP office.
There was less movement of public transport and cars in the morning in Panthpath, Mohammadpur, Green Road, Caravan Bazaar, Agargaon, Fakirapool areas of the capital, but rickshaws and CNG-powered auto-rickshaws were seen plying on the roads.
In the morning, police were also seen in Panthpath intersection, Sark Fountain, Fakirapool, Rajarbagh, Kakrail area.
