Focusing on the development achieved in the country during her government, Hasina said Bangladesh now has the capability to deal with any situation.
The PM urged everyone to work hard honestly to continue the country’s development journey.
He recalled the contribution of Ansar-VDP, the country’s largest army with 61 lakh members and 42 battalions including two women battalions and one special battalion, in ensuring the security of public and private structures and organizations.
The Prime Minister said that if Ansar is asked to perform duty for any national cause, they do it properly.
“Even now our Ansar members are performing their duties very competently at various important places including various foreign embassies located in Bangladesh,” he said.
He appreciated the role of Ansar members in protecting the country’s property including Bangladesh Railways from the arson violence carried out by the BNP-Jamaat group in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2023.
