How to book tickets:
Passengers aged 12-18 can purchase tickets separately using their parent’s account or by creating an account using their birth certificate. In that case, the recipient must keep a copy of the birth certificate.
Foreigners can use their passports for registration.
One cannot buy inter-district train tickets without successful verification of their NID card, passport or birth certificate.
Passengers should travel with copies of their NID card or birth certificate or passport or any other identity proof with photo.
If the identification information does not match the ticket, passengers will be charged with traveling without a ticket, an offense liable to punishment as per railway law.
