Nicholas Pooran's whirlwind 98 off 53 balls (six fours, eight sixes) highlighted West Indies' impressive batting effort as they reached 218 for five after playing two Super Eight qualifiers ahead of the next stage of the tournament starting on Wednesday.
In reply, Afghanistan were bundled out for 114 in 16.2 overs.
