The price of onion has increased again by Taka 10 to Taka 15. Due to a shortage of supply of onion from India the price of onion has increased. The had taken initiative to curb the price by importing onion through TCB. But the price has increased again.
Indian onion has become scanty and hence the price has become almost Taka 80 per Kg. however, there are ample stock of locally produced onion but sells around Taka 70 per Kg. Meanwhile the increased price of rice did not decreased up until now. There are ample supply of Hilsha fish but the price not very cheap.
