Meteorologists from South Asian countries are participating in the 28th session of the South Asian Climate Outlook Forum.
The conference began on Monday where meteorologists discussed extreme heat waves in the region this summer.
However, the main topic of discussion was the upcoming monsoon season (June–September).
At the conference, top meteorologists from the region presented preliminary opinions on weather forecasts for the coming months. He said that this monsoon there may be more rain than normal. There will be more monsoon rain than normal in Bangladesh this year.
There is a possibility of more rain in the upper Indian states of Bangladesh also. As a result, the flood situation in Bangladesh is at risk of worsening during the monsoon.
