Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Wednesday said in its weather forecast for the next three days that the ongoing heat wave across the country may subside from tomorrow, Thursday.
Speaking to Prothom Alo, meteorologist MD Umar Farooq said it was raining at some places in the country. He said that the temperature may drop slightly from tomorrow.
Today, Wednesday, rain or thundershowers at one or two places with temporary gusty or gusty wind along with hail at isolated places are likely over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions. The weather may remain mainly dry with isolated temporary clouds across the country.
The prevailing heat wave may subside at some places in the eastern part of the country.
Day temperatures may drop by one to two degrees Celsius in the eastern part and remain almost unchanged elsewhere in the country. There may be a drop of one to two degrees Celsius in night temperatures across the country.
