The opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will hold marches across its 66 organizational districts today, Saturday to press for its 10-point demands, including the next parliamentary election under a neutral caretaker government, leaders of the BNP and its like-minded parties. Central leaders of the party including the members of the Standing Committee will attend the programs of the march.
Other demands of the BNP include reducing the prices of essential commodities, refraining from torturing its leaders and activists, releasing leaders and activists from prison, and the resignation of the government.
However, the party will hold its Dhaka district march program on Sunday.
