A Chinese national working on the Padma Bridge rail link project at Shibchar in Madaripur died in a head-on collision with a pickup truck.
The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Tsai Ying, who worked as a surveyor for the project. According to interpreter MD Ronnie, Tsai was traveling on a pick-up truck to tour the project site when the accident occurred at around 8am on Saturday.
