Currently the use of Bangla spelling is in a chaotic situation. Bangla Academy has standardized the Bangla spelling and also published Bangla dictionary which were praised by the intellectuals.
NCTB (National Curriculum and Textbook Board) have been very cautious on using the correct Bangla spelling on textbooks.
But unfortunately other organizations including government organizations and ministries are not serious on using correct Bangla spelling. Different departments have been using different Bangla spelling.
Now the government has decided to bring an end of this chaotic situation. Government has directed all ministries, directorates and departments to follow the spelling standardized by Bangla Academy. Government also directed respective departments to collect adequate number of Bangla dictionary published by Bangla Academy.
