Referring to the recently adopted Security Council resolution, EAM called for urgent and coordinated action involving all stakeholders to achieve the deliverables proposed in the Council resolution on Rohingya and other General Assembly resolutions.
He particularly emphasized the importance of the leadership of the ASEAN countries.
EAM held high level interactive talks on Rohingya crisis with the participation of key member states like Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Djibouti, Egypt, Gambia, Indonesia, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Senegal, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey. the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the United States and the European Union and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
