Student Amman Siddiqui was contacted several times but could not be traced.

However, assistant proctor Deen Islam, whose name is mentioned in the post, said, “I saw the girl about one and a half years ago. Some of his classmates come to the proctor's office. At that time, the then Proctor Mustafa Kamal Sir, I and some other Assistant Proctors were in the office. The girl used to send SMS to her friends using a fake ID. We were told that a complaint has been lodged at the police station. Later the girl confessed her crime. Then his family members requested to take back GD. Then all the proctorial team met and decided to keep him under observation for three months. If there is no problem the GD will be withdrawn. I never talked to that girl in private. This can also be understood from CCTV footage or written complaint in the proctor's office. Please investigate the incident. If I am guilty then punish me. But please don't blame me already. Otherwise I will also have to commit suicide.”

In this regard, Jagannath University's Proctor Professor Jahangir Hussain said, “We have received information about the matter. The deceased student has blamed a member of our proctoral team for her death. Honorable Vice Chancellor has verbally ordered to suspend him temporarily. “Further action will be taken based on investigation as per legal process.”
