Foreign Secretary Masood bin Momen discussed these matters with Eileen Laubacher at the State Guest House Padma in Dhaka on Monday afternoon. The meeting was a part of ongoing discussions between Bangladesh and the US on Indo-Pacific Strategy (IPS) and enhancing defense and security cooperation between the two countries.
A notification from the Ministry of External Affairs on Monday evening said that the meeting discussed issues of bilateral interest and priorities, particularly humanitarian assistance, Rohingya repatriation and rehabilitation, Indo-Pacific strategy, development assistance, maritime security, strengthening of law enforcement agencies and Cyber security was discussed.
