With third world medical facility and second-largest population, India is one of the hardest-hit countries in the present coronavirus pandemic. This nuclear power country is criticized for not doing enough for its poorest section of the society. They even can’t afford a toilet in their homes. Many Indian celebrities have joined the effort to help ordinary citizens.

Earlier in last April Shah Rukh Khan handed over his office keys to local Municipal Corporation for Covid-19 patients. It was being used as a quarantine center for Covid-19 patients. His wife Gauri Khan herself changed the office interior.

Now this quarantine center has been converted to ICU for critical Covid-19 patients. There are fifteen ICU beds with oxygen cylinder, central oxygen supply, and ventilation facility. Doctors, nurses, and other medical staff will be available 24*7. Shah Rukh Khan’s Meer Foundation and Hinduja Hospital have jointly initiated this ICU facility with local Municipal Corporation.

Earlier fifty-four out of sixty-six coronavirus patients have been recovered from Shah Rukh Khan’s quarantine facility. Other patients have been transferred to other quarantine facilities to launch this ICU.
