Joypurhat Sadar police station in-charge Sirajul Islam told that 27 passengers were injured in the bus accident.
The police officer quoted the passengers as saying that the driver was driving rashly. The passengers also felt that the driver was drunk.
After the accident, both the driver and the assistant fled from the spot. The relatives of the injured passengers have been informed.
