Bangladesh cricket team coach Richard Pybus has resigned. In a long interview with cricinfo he said it has become difficult for him to continue with Bangladesh cricket. He said Bangladesh Cricket Bard wanted him to stay 320 days in Bangladesh which was not possible for him for family reason. He wanted to stay with cricket team during series and tournaments and preparation periods. Earlier board assured him that it will be allowed. But later it was rejected.

Richard Pybus also said there are some talented cricketers and dedicated officials in Bangladesh. But he said there is too much political interference. Even simple decisions needed the approval of top officials. He said some officials don’t have much knowledge on cricket but they like interfering.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board has appointed Shane John Jurgensen as temporary head coach after the resignation of Richard Pybus.
