BNP plans to put pressure on the government through continuous programs in October

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) wants to reach a conclusion regarding the upcoming general elections by putting pressure on the government before announcing the election schedule.

For this, the opposition wants to organize several programs in October so that the government can be forced to accept their demands before the election schedule is announced in the first week of November. However, the party has not yet finalized its programs for October.

Meanwhile, ruling Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has issued a 36-day ultimatum to the BNP, keeping in mind the days left before the announcement of the election schedule.

People concerned say that he said this to send a message to BNP not to hold any “violent” program in the name of political movement.
