The stated owned mobile phone company Teletalk Bangladesh Limited has launched its newest package Ekush. Its call rate is the cheapest; it will also offer cheap internet service. No use no pay internet rate is 0.01tk for every 4 KB usage, 10 MB with one day validity will cost 8 tk and 1 GB with one month validity will cost 250 tk.
Peak hour on net call rate: 0.60 tk per 30 sec and off peak rate 0.25 tk per minute.
For off net: peak hour call rate is 0.60 per 30 sec and off peak rate is 0.65 per minute.
To activate 10 MB package users have to send d10m to 111 and to activate one GB package users have to send m01g to 111.
Long waited Teletalk Company came with promise to offer cheap and better service to users, many bought Teletalk sim standing in long queue. But it disappointed everyone. When other private operators are gaining more and more subscribers, Teletalk lost many of its subscribers in the recent months. May be the authority is trying to come back with its new package.
