Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin said on Saturday that Finland still wants to join NATO along with Sweden despite Turkey’s objections to its neighbor’s membership bid.
“We have sent a very clear signal and a very clear message to Turkey and Hungary that we want to enter NATO together and it is in everyone’s interest,” Marin told the Munich Security Conference.
“We want to engage with Sweden at the same time. It is not only because we are good neighbors and partners, it is also from very concrete matters – NATO’s security plan,” she said.
