Two-day Russian Film Festival and Photo Exhibition held at Stamford University

He also invited Bangladeshi youth to register and participate in the World Youth Festival-2024, which will be held in Sochi in early March next year. The festival will gather more than 20,000 Russian and foreign youth leaders aged 18 to 35.

Stamford University Board of Trustees Chairperson Fatinaz Firoz said Bangladesh and Russia have bilateral friendly relations at various levels. He expressed hope that relations will strengthen and people of both the countries will be able to know each other better through cultural exchange.

Other speakers gratefully recalled the remarkable cooperation of the erstwhile Soviet Union and Russia in the reconstruction of Bangladesh and the ongoing development of Bangladesh after independence.

Professor Moniruzzaman, Vice-Chancellor of Stamford University, thanked the Russian House in Dhaka for its overall cooperation in organizing the event and expressed hope to jointly organize other events with the University. The visitors to the festival thoroughly enjoyed all the programs including the film screening.
