The news has published the names and identities of 13 leaders and workers who were seen with knives during the clash. Four of them were leaders of the inactive committee of the BCL Chhatra League. They are: Khaled Massoud, Sultan Mehboob, Rubel Miah and Arafat Rehan. Others seen with weapons are Naim Arafat, Sabbir Hussain, Mohammaduzzaman Omar, Mohammad Sofol, Mohammad Shamim, Eamon Ahmed, Mehdi Hassan, Mohammad Hussain and Ahmed Anik. They are workers of various factions of BCL.
