Hundreds of Muslim devotees from across the country and abroad are gathering at the venue and engaging in prayers – chanting the name of Allah and listening to sermons.
Maulana Khurshidul Haq of Pakistan delivered a sermon after the Fajr prayer and Maulana Ibrahim Deula of India also delivered a sermon in the morning. Maulana Iftar Zaman will give discourse in English.
Devotees from different parts of the country are still coming to the Ijtema site in buses, trucks, boats and on foot.
The first phase of the Ijtema will end tomorrow (Sunday) with Akheri Munajat (last prayer).
