On March 10, a division bench of the High Court comprising Justices KM Kamrul Kader and Khizir Hayat, after a preliminary hearing on a writ petition, stayed the government's decision for two months and issued a rule in this regard.
As the government filed an appeal against the stay order, the apex court led by Chief Justice Obaidul Hasan today passed the order saying educational institutions will remain open till further notice.
